How we CARE : our volunteering initiatives

CARE has been successful in its efforts in part thanks to employees from Air Liquide Singapore volunteering with their families in activities such as community food packing for the underprivileged, beach cleanups and gardening for the Handicaps Welfare Association.

We also have CARE Champions from various departments who organize their own activities to care for our Community and Environment.

How we CARE : our corporate partnerships

We have been supporting the causes and initiatives by the non-profit organizations and authorities in protecting the environment and caring for the community.

Supporting a Greener Jurong Island

Air Liquide Singapore supports The Greener Jurong Island initiative. Together with the JTC Corporation, the National Parks Board (NParks,) and the Garden City Fund (GFC), we’ve taken a commitment to green Jurong Island with more trees. We have contributed 50 trees to this initiative with our volunteers planting the trees in Jurong Island!
Giving Old Shoes a New Future

The “Old Shoes, New Future” initiative is a nationwide effort to recycle used sports shoes into materials that could be used for jogging tracks, fitness corners and playgrounds in Singapore. We have sponsored 50 bins to be placed island wide.
eGreetings with MDAS

Since 2019, we have been partnering with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDAS) to create our Chinese New Year eCards, which we sent to our customers as an annual greeting to thank them for their continuous support throughout the year.
Bringing Art to HWA

Since 2012, we have been sponsoring the Handicaps Welfare Association’s painting classes for their members. One project was painting the mountains for the meeting rooms in our Corporate Office, which were named after the mountains in Southeast Asia.
Bringing Greenery to HWA

Together with NParks, we also designed and set up HWA's “Garden of Hope”, an accessibility-friendly garden to bring rehabilitative and therapeutic benefits to its members. Our volunteers have also been maintaining the Garden of Hope for them.
