pH control

CO₂ is a simple and economical alternative to neutralising alkaline water streams with strong mineral acids. This pH neutralisation method reduces impact on the environment because it does not generate secondary pollution. It permanently retains carbon in the form of hydrogen carbonate, which is environmentally neutral.
