Masks Sewn With Love (#MSWL) is a community project to sew reusable cloth masks for our Singapore Nation. Since the project started in April, more than 100,000 masks have been sewn by the MSWL volunteers.

In August, Air Liquide Singapore launched the month-long #AL-MSWL, inviting everyone in Air Liquide in Singapore to CARE for the Community by sewing reusable cloth masks. Eight of our colleagues from Air Liquide Singapore, Air Liquide Industrial Services and SEPPIC volunteered for this initiative and sewed a total of 110 masks for #AL-MSWL!  It was heartening to know that many of our volunteers did not have prior experience in sewing masks but went online to research to find out the different methods of sewing it. Some of them even hand stitched the masks, which was not an easy feat! They also injected some of their creative juices into the masks, by sewing different cloth designs together! As the volunteers were all working on their own, a virtual lunch session was held to allow everyone to meet and exchange sewing tips with one another.

The masks have since been posted to #MSWL and we hope that these Air Liquide masks sewn with love will protect our vulnerable groups from COVID-19. Communications would also like to take this opportunity to thank all volunteers for taking the time and love to CARE for our Community!
