Greening Jurong Island” kicks-off with its first community tree planting!

JTC Corporation has partnered National Parks Board (NParks) and its registered charity, the Garden City Fund (GFC), to green Jurong Island with more trees, “Greening Jurong Island”*.  

As part of this initiative, a tree planting event was held on 26th October in Jurong Island, graced by Mr Desmond Lee, Minister of National Development. Our CARE Champion for ALSg represented Air Liquide Singapore in this event and planted several trees as part of the “Greening Jurong Island” initiative. A total of 100 trees were planted by Mr Lee, JTC’s partners and residents from Boon Lay Ward - making this the first community tree planting in an industrial estate!
