Air Liquide Singapore is awarded the Total Defence National Service (NS) Advocate Award for Large Companies!

Launched in 1986, the Total Defence Awards recognize businesses, specifically employers and civil resource owners for their contributions towards Total Defence. The Total Defence Awards consists of the National Service (NS) Advocate Award across four categories -- Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), Large Companies, Organisations and Individuals. The NS Advocate Award is the highest accolade conferred on businesses, organisations and individuals in recognition of their exemplary support towards Total Defence and National Service.



Air Liquide Singapore was awarded the NS Advocate Award for Large Companies in 2020 for implementing policies and practices that supported National Service and Total Defence. Besides allowing our National Servicemen to do their part for the nation, ALSg had also been supporting Civil Resource exercises for many years through the deployment of our vehicle fleet. 



At the Total Defence Awards Ceremony, the guest-of-honour, Minister for Defence, Dr Ng Eng Hen also thanked Air Liquide Singapore for assisting in the fight through increased supplies of medical oxygen and equipment to treat the COVID-19 patients.



It was an honour to receive the Total Defence NS Advocate Award and Air Liquide Singapore will continue to support nation-building programs as we, as an organization, have a part to play to ensure Singapore’s security.
