It is a ready-to-use medical gas mixture (50% N2O/50% O2) for use in analgesia. It delivers safe sedation and analgesia for elective diagnostics and therapeutic procedures that can provoke significant anxiety or pain in adult or pediatric patients. It does not cause loss of consciousness and the laryngeal closure reflex is maintained, making it safe against anaesthetic effect or respiratory drive depression.
