Work Study Programme (WSP)

The Work Study Programme (WSP) is a 12 to 18 months long work-learn programme that gives graduates of Polytechnics and ITEs a headstart in their careers relating to their discipline of study. Successful applicants can expect to gain valuable work experience through mentorship and workplace learning as well as a specialised certification at the end of this programme.

This programme is only open to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents within 3 years of graduation, or within 3 years of the ORD date.

"Given the coveted opportunity to be in the Air Liquide’s Work Study Program (WSP) has broadened my horizons by allowing me to gain tremendous insights on the operations of the gas industry. The bilateral concurrent learning experiences from work and institution complemented one another well and has definitely been an enriching one in contrast to pursuing higher learning from the conventional mainstream.

The day to day onsite hands-on experiences have enabled me to better relate the teachings in school as well as enhancing my technical knowledge exponentially. Working in a dynamic MNC environment with colleagues of various diverse backgrounds and expertises, not only proliferates my technical skills but also my soft skills which books do not cover.

Apart from the daily job assignment, I am also glad to be involved and to be part of the industry transformation through the digitalization and sustainability projects as a bonus to my credentials. My colleagues had definitely played significant roles in furnishing all the moral support as well as imparting their skills and knowledge. And, not forgetting the ample guidance and patience from my immediate manager who played a huge inspirational role for me to continue pursuing a career in Air Liquide. "
